Raul Rosas Jr. to make RAF debut against UFC Hall of Famer Clay Guida at RAF 15

UFC bantamweight Raul Rosas Jr. will make his Real American Freestyle (RAF) debut against UFC Hall of Famer Clay Guida at RAF 15 on November 28 at NOW Arena in Chicago. The promotion announced the Rosas Jr. vs Guida freestyle wrestling match on Friday, October 16, as first reported by MMA Fighting. The event airs live on Fox Nation.

A busy year for Rosas Jr.

Rosas Jr. is still only 22 years old and has built his name in the UFC bantamweight division, where he is on a run of six straight wins. The most recent came at UFC Vegas 121 on September 26, when he finished Raoni Barcelos in his first UFC main event, a bout that MMA Fighting described as ending in a scary finish.

RAF 15 will be Rosas Jr.'s fifth combat sports booking of 2026. According to MMA Fighting, his year so far includes:

• Two UFC wins
• A draw against former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo at a Hype FC event
• A first-round submission win over Khasan Magomedsharipov at an ACBJJ event in July

Rosas Jr. first made headlines as a teenager. He became the youngest fighter ever signed by the UFC when he earned a contract on Dana White's Contender Series at 17, and then the youngest fighter to win a UFC bout when he beat Jay Perrin in his promotional debut.

Guida still looking for first RAF win

Guida, 44, retired from MMA competition in 2024 after more than 60 professional bouts, including 37 appearances in the UFC. In 2019 he was inducted into the Fight Wing of the UFC Hall of Fame for his memorable brawl with Diego Sanchez at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale.

He has since stayed active on the wrestling mats but is still searching for his first victory in RAF. Guida is 0-3 in the promotion, with losses to Frankie Edgar, Keelon Jimison and Cayden Henschel. Facing a much younger opponent who is in the middle of an active UFC career will be another tough test.

More bouts on the RAF 15 card

RAF also announced several other matchups for the Chicago event:

• Danny Sabatello vs Jacob Schultz, with the Bellator and RIZIN veteran Sabatello on the mats
• Miranda Maverick vs Haley Augello, as the UFC flyweight makes her promotional debut against the Olympian
• Anthony Pettis vs Donald Cerrone, a meeting of two former UFC stars that was announced earlier

RAF 15 takes place on Saturday, November 28, at NOW Arena in the Chicago area and streams on Fox Nation. Before that, the promotion heads to Abu Dhabi on November 14.
