Jiří Procházka vs Navajo Stirling to headline UFC Fight Night in Doha on November 21

UFC announced on October 12 that former light heavyweight champion Jiří Procházka will face undefeated contender Navajo Stirling in a five-round main event on Saturday, November 21, at ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar. The card, UFC Fight Night: Procházka vs Stirling, marks the promotion's second visit to Doha, staged in partnership with Visit Qatar.

The main event

Jiří Procházka vs Navajo Stirling pairs the No. 2 and No. 5 ranked light heavyweights. Procházka (32-6-1), who fights out of Brno, Czech Republic, returns for the first time since April. He won the light heavyweight title with a fifth-round submission of Glover Teixeira at UFC 275 in 2022 before vacating the belt because of injury. According to UFC, 28 of his 32 wins have come by knockout.

Stirling (11-0), from Auckland, New Zealand, is 6-0 in the UFC since earning his contract on Dana White's Contender Series in 2024. He has stopped all three of his opponents this year, most recently finishing former champion Jan Błachowicz in the first round in August.

Co-main event

Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, now No. 4 at featherweight, meets No. 9 Kevin Vallejos. Sterling (26-5) defended the bantamweight title three times and is 3-1 at 145 pounds, most recently beating Youssef Zalal by unanimous decision in April. Vallejos (18-1), from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has won seven straight, including all four of his UFC fights, with knockouts of Giga Chikadze and Josh Emmett.

Hooker headlined UFC's first event in Qatar last November, while Almabayev and Horiguchi both earned submission wins on that card. Albazi knocked out Costa in the third round of their first meeting nearly four years ago.

UFC said last year's inaugural event at ABHA Arena sold out. Tickets for the November 21 card are on sale through the Visit Qatar ticketing platform.
