Frazer Clarke says he accepted Joseph Parker fight for Fury vs Joshua undercard in Cardiff
Frazer Clarke says he said yes to a Joseph Parker fight on the Fury vs Joshua undercard in Cardiff on December 11, but talks have gone quiet and nothing is confirmed.

British heavyweight Frazer Clarke says he has accepted an offer to face former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on December 11. Clarke made the comments on The Sun's SunBoxing Corner Talk podcast, as reported on Monday, October 26, by The Sun, BoxingScene and talkSPORT. The fight is not confirmed, and Clarke himself admitted the talks have gone quiet.
"There's a couple of names being floated along and thrown my way," Clarke said. "Joseph Parker's one of them, and that's something that I said yes to."
"It's gone a bit quiet now; I've not heard much about it, so it could still be there, could not be," he added. "But that's a massive fight for me. He's a huge name, great fighter, good friend of mine."
A 16-year-old score
Clarke vs Parker would carry history. The two met as amateurs in 2010 at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India, where Parker won. Clarke says he still wants to even that up.
"He's got one over me in the amateurs. Me and Joe boxed in India in 2010," Clarke said. "He won on a split. I think I blew a gasket. I was young, and he was young as well, but he was more of an athlete than I was back then."
The Olympic bronze medallist said Parker is one of several names on his list of unfinished business. "Joe Joyce, I've not beat him yet. Four times I fought him, and I've not got a win over him yet. AJ, he's got one over on me. You wanna put all these things right," Clarke said, according to talkSPORT.
Clarke also told The Sun that he has sparred Parker before, in Saudi Arabia ahead of Parker's scheduled fight with Martin Bakole, and described the rounds as "really good sparring".
Where both fighters stand
- Frazer Clarke, 35, is 10-3-1 (8 KOs), according to BoxingScene. He snapped a two-fight losing skid in August by stopping journeyman Lamah Griggs in Leeds.
- Joseph Parker, 34, is 36-4 (24 KOs) and has not fought since his stoppage loss to Fabio Wardley in October 2025.
- After that fight, Parker's failed pre-fight drug test for benzoylecgonine, a cocaine metabolite, led to a backdated three-month ban. He has since been cleared to box again by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD). The Sun reports that UKAD accepted Parker's explanation that his nutritionist's cocaine use was to blame.
For Clarke, Parker would be a big step up from his last opponent. For Parker, it would be his return after more than a year out, on what promoters are billing as one of the biggest cards in British boxing history.
What is confirmed
Fury vs Joshua is officially set for December 11 at the Principality Stadium and will stream live on Netflix. Turki Alalshikh and Dana White both confirmed the booking. The undercard has not been announced, and neither Parker nor the promoters have publicly confirmed a Clarke vs Parker fight.
