UFC CEO and Zuffa Boxing boss Dana White has fired back at Misfits Boxing's $10 million offer for him to box Matchroom chairman Eddie Hearn, calling the British promoter a "bum" and daring him to pick a gym in London. White made the comments in a video interview published by All Out Fighting on Saturday, November 7, the day his promotion staged Zuffa Boxing 12 in London.

"Eddie Hearn's a bum, he's never boxed," White said. "If Eddie Hearn wants to fight, he can pick the gym here in London, we'll go down to the f***ing gym, me and him, and we can f***ing do it."

The clip spread quickly across combat sports accounts on Saturday. As Knockout Daily noted, it does not include the question that prompted White's answer, and there was no public reply from Hearn at the time of publication.

The Misfits offer

The latest exchange follows comments made earlier this week by Misfits Boxing co-president Kalle Sauerland. Speaking to IFL TV, as reported by Boxing Wire, Bloody Elbow and MMA Scene on Wednesday, November 4, Sauerland said Misfits had sent a written offer to both White and Hearn.

"A lot of people asked me if it's b******* and I said, 'No it's not, I'll pay $20 million for that' so we put it in writing to Dana and Eddie, called Eddie and actually with Eddie, we're not far off," Sauerland said. "I'm not gonna lean out the boat because I've not totally tied it up with Eddie but we're close with Eddie and Dana has had it in writing. And I changed it too from a $20 million winner takes all to a $10 million straight offer now."

Sauerland also joked that Misfits would stage "Eddie vs. Dana" the night after Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua. No terms have been agreed and no fight has been announced.

From eye-roll to gym dare

White had previously appeared uninterested. According to the Boxing Wire and Bloody Elbow reports, when he was first asked about the Misfits proposal he rolled his eyes and suggested the promoter was simply chasing a reaction.

The idea itself goes back to earlier in the year. Boxing Wire reported that White said in March he would be willing to fight Hearn in a boxing ring.

Saturday's comments do not accept the Misfits offer. Instead, White framed any fight as an informal gym session on Hearn's terms, rather than a paid event.

A year-long feud

White, 57, and Hearn have traded shots throughout 2026 since White's arrival in boxing with Zuffa Boxing, partly over their roles around Fury vs. Joshua, according to MMA Scene. The two promoters now compete directly for fighters and broadcast audiences, and both regularly use interviews to take aim at each other's business.

What is confirmed:

  • White called Hearn a "bum" and invited him to pick a London gym in Saturday's All Out Fighting interview.

What is not confirmed:

  • Sauerland's claim that Misfits is "close" to terms with Hearn has not been confirmed by Hearn or Matchroom.
  • There is no agreement, date or venue for any White vs. Hearn fight.
